Job Loss

A decrease in the annual percentage rate of job loss indicates that July 2009 could be a turning point in the state of Texas’ economic downturn… Just another sign that the economy is poised for a rebound. While Texas is reversing the job loss trend, the nation seems to be leveling out. The U.S. economy lost 4.2 percent of its total nonfarm jobs from July 2008 to July 2009, the same rate as from June 2008 to June 2009, indicating a trend toward stabilization of the national economy.
